Many comments on here about the volunteers. Unfortunately CRT are currently unable to provide basic amenities for the volunteers such as toilets and a welfare cabin. We would sincerely like to recommence our taskforce and restore the Basin to the condition it was last year. We hope that the Welcome Station & museum can re-open as soon as possible. CRT are currently trying to recruit volunteers for the stretch of canal from Bugsworth to Swizzels in New Mills, on a fortnightly basis. If you would like to see a dedicated Bugsworth Basin volunteer taskforce team return to the Basin on a weekly Basin, please canvass CRT to facilitate this. Thank you.
