Fantastic New Additions to Bugsworth Basin!
There are some lovely new additions for anyone planning a visit to Bugsworth Basin! Four brand-new benches have been installed, providing the perfect spot for visitors, walkers, and boaters to sit back, relax, and soak in the area’s interesting history.
Big thank you to the CRT team who constructed these and placed them in some lovely spots!
Also massive thank you goes out to Tesco Whaley Bridge “Stronger Starts” for their generous donation. Generosity like this keeps the Basin a welcoming and vibrant place for the public to enjoy.
Preserving the Basin’s History
Regular visitors might notice that one of the older benches has unfortunately suffered from rot and split over recent months. Hopefully, this will either be repaired soon or have its beautiful brass tribute plaque safely transferred onto one of the shiny new benches.
A Lovely Idea? 💭
With the arrival of these new seats. Could this be a wonderful opportunity to add tribute or memorial plaques to them? Honoring those who have worked so hard on the Basin over the years.
